good crew and excellent service

great ship, plenty of room

nice size, nice layout

This was our first cruise on Celebrity. We usually sail with Royal Caribbean and thought we would give it a try. The Solstice is a very nice ship with an upscale modern decor. The cabin was very nice though, i won't book an obstructed view again. We had screaming children on both sides of our cabin and one of the "neighbors" thought it was ok to lean over and look into our balcony. The bathroom design was excellent - alot of storage for makeup, etc. Deck did not have a lounge chair or foot rest. Cabin steward was excellent. I really missed the Royal Promenade that Royal Caribbean offers. The shops were very high end merchandise and lacked the "local" items usually featured on ships. The Mexican bazaar was one shop with a table display out front. Food was a disappointment. The cafe was good for breakfast/lunch but definitely lacking if you decided to skip the dining room for dinner. The main dining room food was better though went down hill from first night. This is probably because I am allergic to shellfish and it seemeed everything offered contained some form of shellfish. Our dining partners regretted that Escargot was never offered the entire voyage. The excursions were good. Embarkation/dembarkation very smooth. As a whole the cruise was very nice but, I am still going back to Royal Caribbean.

It is a 4 star hotel on water..all celebrity employees treated us great..very friendly..helpful..great ports of call..great weather helped as well..even 1 rough night on the seas could not dampen us..

nice shape, not designed or run for families

We have cruised 7 times, and the Soltise was the best of all.

THE STAFF OF THIS SHIP IS SUPER

clean and beautiful, easy to get around, sleek

Beautiful but, main lobby gets congested after shows let out in evenings.

That cruise is perfect. Thanks Celebrity, we will be back.

If you are at least 60 years of age and or retired this is the ship for you.

This was our first cruise on the Solstice and we felt very pampered. The entire staff was pleasant, personable and eager to make us comfortable and happy. Captain Gerry was excellent. We attended one of his talks and found him to be knowledgeable, quick witted and interesting. We enjoyed his performance, he is actually very talented. The wait staff made out dining experience special every night. The ship was very clean and every aspect of the cruise was well planned and though out. We had a wonderful cruise.

This is the second time on the Solistice and highly recommend this ship as well as the Equinox (her sister ship). Crew keeps this ship spotless; food is the best we have ever had on a cruise (and this was our 10th cruise). Rooms are kept exceptionally clean by the room stewarts. I can't say enough good about Celebrity ships. Solistice is the only ship that the Captain is part of the entertainment. Captain Gerry plays a mean guitar and is part of the entertainment on two nights of the ships cruise.

It was very nice. This was our 16th or 17th cruise and it was one of the nicest.

Great personality to the crew. Food was above average. Service was good. Ship rarely feels crowded.

Well designed ship- very little waiting at elevators Staff generally excellent.

This is a near new ship and was beautiful.

This was my second time sailing on the Solstice. The layout of the ship is exceptional. A beautiful ship! Activities galore. Fantastic food!
