An undemanding cruise, active or not.

Sail Date: September 01, 2013

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Balcony

Solstice is a beautiful ship with an outstanding crew. The staff was very conscientious about cleanliness and protecting passengers from being exposed to bacteria which could cause illness. I missed the afternoon tea offered on Holland America and Princess and felt the library could have had more popular fiction available. I also felt there was a bit too much effort made by spa personnel to sell their services. Also did not like the \"nickle and dime passengers\" approach of having food and normal beverages charged extra in some areas.

Pros: Great food and beautiful cities.

Cons: Delay with no access to food or water at border on bus.
