A nice cruise

Sail Date: March 20, 2011

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Overall ship clean and neat. Did not like the fact there was not a floor/level where you could walk around the ship on the outside. Pool area small for the size of ship. Staff were not overly friendly and in some cases rude.

Pros: Getting away for the week

Cons: was not overwhelmed by the service, staff did not go above and beyond.

Recommends Celebrity Solstice? No.

Service and Staff
Was not impressed. In some instances passengers seemed to be a bother.
Food and Dining
Was not as good as other cruises I have been on. Presentation and desserts no where as good as other cruises.
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Entertainment was very good and enjoyable, best part of the cruise.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Megan bay was very nice.
Don't Miss: megan bay
San Juan, Puerto Rico
would not recommend. We arrived in the afternoon and were in port from 4pm 10pm, we only stayed in Puerto Rico for a couple of hours and were not comfortable staying after dark.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
very clean, resort feeling, visited orient beach, shopping nice.
