From the moment we stepped aboard and were handed a glass of champagne, this was a most pleasurable, relaxing experience.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food choices in the dining room were varied and very well prepared. The standards like rack of lamb and lobster are there, and some innovative items like pork belly. The multiple buffet stations made dining there fast and easy.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The Solstice show blew us away. There were plenty of offerings for anyone's taste. The hot glass show is an interesting addition. We also enjoyed the culinary demonstrations and the tour of the kitchen while it was in operation.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Clearly, everyone has been to customer satisfaction training. We were frequently greeted with smiles and everyone was very helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This is a beautiful ship, and kept spotlessly clean. We saw handrails and other public areas being frequently wiped down. Celebrity seems to take the health of its passengers very seriously.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our balcony stateroom seems spacious. The bed was very comfortable, and there were nice touches like the night light in the newly designed bathroom and a wide screen TV with demand movies.

Ports of call

San Juan, Puerto Rico

3 out of 5
Ship arrived late afternoon, so there was really only time to see the historic area. Would have been better had we docked earlier.
Don't Miss: See El Morro

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Too bad, we were in port with Oasis of the Seas. Orient Beach has become one large chair rental station to accommodate the mass of passengers.
Don't Miss: Orient Beach

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
Shopping is always fun, but perhaps it's time to add more stores that sell something other than jewelry, with the current price of gold.
Don't Miss: Snorkeling at Coki or one of the other beaches

Pros: Excellent food and service

Cons: Could use another pool
