Review summary

Our 1st cruise was on Celebrity X Cruise Line , Western Carib on the Solstice. The entire crew was impeccable , very professional, and wanted to do nothing better but make our cruise a a supreme pleasure. The staff in Blu even remembered our anniversary and presented us with a cake at dessert. Sang to us and took pix. wonderful. Our waiters Safet and Beliz were superb. When it came time to debatrk my wife and I were sad to leave good friends. We are looking forward to another trip but longer timewise...12-14 days. We are hooked on cruises !!!

Exceptional go Aqua Class use Blu for breakfast and dinner and go to aqua cafe for lunch. I gained 1 1/2 lbs and my wife less. very healthy and filling

awful, dirty, poor and constant bombarded for car rides or personal tours...ironically one wouldn't go off with anyone like that in the states why would anyone "trust" anyone there? another rip-off stay on the ship more fun because everyone is on shore getting bitten by sand fleas and day time mosquitoes with dengue fever, UGH let alone the guilt one feels when amongst so much poverty. stay on the ship

felt like all the natives were there to rip us off ...at 12 pesos per dollar they only dealt in $$US a taxi ride to the nearest beach was 8 km at $15 each way and no AC and dirty Taxi. actually felt guilty being there amongst such poverty and filth

Pros: Our waiters in BLU... Safet,Beliz, Billy Graham, The maitre d' Marlan...the entire crew

Cons: Roatan, Honduras...too poor and when asked why here was told to bring $$ to the people. ????? the beaches were full of sand fleas...Belize would have been a nicer and safer stop. Unlike other cruises no private island to beach at ...a bit of a let down when the party excursion was $78 PP
