Review summary
We had not sailed on Celebrity in several years, but remembered the fine food and service. They did not disappoint us. The variety and quality of the food is exceptional for this mid-market ship. The balcony cabin and bathroom were exceptionally large and well maintained. We never passed any crew without them making a pleasant greeting. We especially liked the way the passengers were treated as adults. Ther were no repeated loud announcements to break the tranquility, there was an adults only solarium and outdoor pool, and no wild "pool games". Even with the more sedate atmosphere, the kids on board seemed to really be having a great time - lots of activities for them. Our only small negative was the relative lack of activities during the days. But that is very minor. We appreciated the lack of a "summer camp" atmosphere. We also liked that they did not try to sell drink and other packages every time we wanted something. They told us what was available in bar postings and let us be.Ship experiences
