Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Circus-type acts were great. The song and dance group was annoyingly loud: much "screaming" of songs by both male and female vocalists.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Concierge service was a worthwhile extra.

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

3 out of 5
Ship tours put too much emphasis on the sting rays. We went to an impressive historic site, Pedro St. John, on the south shore and thoroughly enjoyed it. The ships should add that to their available tour itineraries.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

3 out of 5
We took the Island Tour of the east end.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

3 out of 5
We took the catamaran snorkel trip and enjoyed it. The reefs are dead from the 2007 hurricane.

Cozumel, Mexico

3 out of 5
We saw the miniature village and beach park.

Pros: The ship. Solstice is a beautiful vessel, well planned and comfortable.

Cons: Closet access in the cabin was very difficult.
