Review summary

The crew on board the Solstice are friendly, courteous and always there to help, Our cruise was fully booked, yet we never felt a sense of crowds or had to wait in lines even for the buffet. Overall the ship is elegant and offers a variety of interesting settings.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We found all the food on the ship to be fresh, tasty and presented very well. From steak to cheese cake, the Solstice provides great food.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The entertainment was just OK. The Solstice entrainment crew are talented. However, there was very little in the way of special entrainment, such as a good comic, singer or magician.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
We saw only happy children and found large areas with many things for kids to do.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone on of the staff were helpful and friendly.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The Solstice is a large ship yet easy to go from one deck to the next or from front to back. The ship is the cleanest we have been on and the beds are super comfortable.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The rooms and bathrooms are large and very comfortable.

Ports of call

Philipsburg, St. Maarten
