The Solstice is an absolutely beautiful vessel. The Celebrity people thought of everything!! The decor and ambiance of the ship cannot be topped. The ship was designed to ensure that you never feel crowded in---even during peak dining hours. The service is wonderful. The staff is from 64 different countries around the world and they have been trained to treat the passengers very respectfully.

We loved the layout of the ship. All of the activities are easily accessible (Ocean View Cafe, Outdoor pool area, indoor pool and health spa, exercise center, etc). The shops are great and we were very happy with the size of our Sky Suite.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We loved the selection of foods in the Ocean View cafe. If you want a table for two in the dining room, it can be arranged but your table will be very close to other larger tables. The specialty dining options cover a vast array of ethnic foods. Murano is very high end French--if you like this type of cuisine and a staff constantly hovering over you.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The colors used in the various areas of the ship are very upbeat and the decor is ultra contemporary. The public restrooms are immaculate with an attendant. The staff is continually cleaning the ship. The cleanliness of the ship provides guests with confidence that the food is being prepared in equally clean surroundings.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our Sky Suite was on Deck 12 and was accessible to all activities. We loved the 42" LCD Television in the Suite. The ship offered about 25 free movies on demand, as well as some additional pay per view movies. You were able to book tours from your stateroom, check your account balances and use the internet (for a nominal fee)

Pros: The ship amenities, the level of service and the ports of call

Cons: The disembarkation process

Recommends Celebrity Solstice? No.
