Not so wonderful boarding

Sail Date: October 22, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Room Type: Inside

We flew into San Diego and boarded the boat. Wow, what a mistake! The people in San Diego had no idea what was going on. We arrived at 10:30 am and did not reach the boat until after 11:00pm! We were told we would have lite refreshments at the San Diego pier, by the time we were through the line there was NO refreshments. They did give ua a bag of crackers and a water for our 4.5 hour drive across the border. The bus barely made it to the ship, dying a few time as the bus driver could not get it into gear! The only thing that did not make us leave the bus and demand our money back is that we were in Mexico and would not know what to do. This entrancn to the ship should not be an option. THere was no communication to the people boarding, we had no idea when we were leaving or what was happening.

Pros: Quiet

Cons: Getting on the ship
