Review SummaryThis was our second experience cruising. The Mercury was not the largest ship of the fleet of Celebrity ships but it certainly was big enough for us, I was still finding new things on the ship after 10 days on board. The staff were certainly taught wonderful customer relations, everyone of them would look you in the eye and speak no matter when or where you'd meet them.It made us feel genuinely welcomed. The educational part of the entertainment had a geologist professor from the university of Georgia on our trip and he educated us on topics such as earthquakes, volcanoes, whales, penguins and more it was great his lectures packed the auditorium every time. The entertainment in the evenings was great. We had celebrities on board not just local entertainers. Pearl Kaufman was on our ship, she is a very talented pianist that has played in many popular movies.
The therapy pool in the spa it was a mineral bath that was so soothing after a great work out in the gym.
Announcements were made in the hall ways and larger areas and we could choose to tune into a TV channel if we so desired to do so. The TV viewing was good too if we were in our state room...
We were even able to keep in touch with our teenagers at home through the FREE roaming available on our cell phones.
Embarking and disembarking was a painful experience it was very well organized.
