Just returned (1/23/00) from a cruise on the Mercury and it was great. This was our 5th cruise and the Mercury met or exceeded all of our expectations..the rooms were large (cat 5-deluxe outside), bathroom and shower larger than expected, food and entertainment outstanding and the weather and SEAS as calm and accomodating as could be. We even had something no cruise agent could promise...a view of a total LUNAR eclipse from the middle of the carabean..what a site. The Service from the crew of the Mercury was outstanding and much more accomodating from our other cruises. The western carabean may not have the most interestng ports of call but we actualy found Grand Cayman fantastic at Sting Ray City and snorkeling and at Calica which is nothing more than a stone quarry to be a different stop out of the way which allowed us to visit a local mexican town and sit and have a few $1 coronas while people walked by or stopped and joined us for a cool one. This was a cruise my wife and I would highly recommend and would only hope the weather and seas would again cooperate. Any questions please ask. Rich in N VA
