Panama Canal - A wonderful 14-day Cruise
Celebrity Mercury Cruise Review to Panama Canal, Central America
Review SummaryWhile this is one of the older Celebrity Ships I have cruised on, our cruise through the Panama Canal could have not been better. The food was excellent, service was great both in the restaurants and staterooms. While there was a virus on the ship while we were there, the crew was working around the clock to clean all public and private areas and it was much appreicated. It would have been better if they would have shined the mirrors, etc. more often after using chlorox just to keep it looking like most cruise ships do. Clean and shiny!
The only negative thing I could say was leaving the ship. We were scheduled to be in the Pavillion Nightclub to wait to leave the ship. We had to stand in the hallway over an hour or so while Immigration was using the room. They should have used another area.
Everything else was great. The food, the staff and crew and of course, I loved the ports of call. I understand that the ship will be going through a remodel soon. Even at that, it was a great cruise. Loved it.

Pros: The length of the cruise. Days at sea between ports. Great weather.
Cons: Not staying in Aruba or Acapulco longer.
