I can't say enough about the extraordinary service provided by your cruise staff; meals were excellent and Emmanual, our stateroom (5037) attendant was super...loved the towel art on several evenings! Even the buffets were extremely appealing in presentation and quality. I really loved the fact that we could pick up the phone and order a caraffe of coffe delivered to our room as our "morning wake-up". When I arrived home, I wondered what happened...no coffee and no service! Realty set in. Our particular staff at dinner (early seating) were not only very attententive, but FUN!. Their personalities really blooomed; perhaps it was the fun loving nature exhibited by the people grouped at our table. Kudos to the people that made that assignment...it was golden!

Pros: The service and food were extraordinary.

Recommends Celebrity Mercury (RETIRED)? Yes!

Juneau, Alaska
Not pleased with the "tacky souviner and jewelry shops", but certainly found plenty of other things to do.
Don't Miss: Red Dog Saloon - the entertainment in the afternoon was GREAT!

Very clean town...enjoyed the Mt Roberts tram and walking the site at the end of the line. Also enjoyed our land-based excursion. Really enjoyed the local folks....and the Alaskan Gormet restaurant. Again, too much of the tacky souvenier shops and jewelry stores.
Don't Miss: The Alaskan Gormet restaurant, the history provided in the local museums and cemetary.
Ketchikan, Alaska
Enjoyed our ship-sponsored land and sea excursion, including the cannery "'exhibit", very interesting providing a great deal of history and the starfish and wildlife seen on our seaward bound return to the ship.
Don't Miss: No time to explore this town, as our excursion arrived just in time to get on board for the pull-out.
