You better have chosen a good ship to spend 2 weeks aboard and we found Celebrity Infinity to be a perfect match for us. Unlike the RCCL 'big' ships Infinity was the right size. The ports were intereting but we had been to the Mexican ports on other cruises. However, the Panama Canal crossing was fabulous. the ship supplied maps, have books onboard in the library and had a wonderful, entertaingn speaker who did a complete overview of the Canal from planning and building to today. There is nothing to top this information to make this a special crossing.
Costa Rica tours were great. We did the all day Coffee Plantation tour and the guide were special. And our cruise mates did the 'zip-line' and couldn;t say enogh about how fun and safe it was.
I will say the Conciere Class is worth the additional and the room service is even better the the restaturants ( if that is possible) we dined on our terrace the morning of the crossing and could almost touch the lock walls. The cruise ship made that entire day we crossed very special with staff on every level explaining and serving guests.
We found the food during the day ranged from simple salds to sushi, stir fry to giant sandwiches.

Pros: Service was excellent; show entertainment was great

Cons: check-in needs work;

Recommends Celebrity Infinity? Yes!

Ship Quality
public areas were clean and decor was lovely. You will find the wait staff helpful
Food and Dining
Found the menu to be extensive and varied.
Cabin / Stateroom
The room size was adequate but the storage was great. On a 2 wek cruise you need this size storage. Our stateroom staff Annucinno was superb and we had ...everyday...all we needed and more,
Service and Staff
We had a problem with our commode one day and by the time we returned from breakfast the problem was fixed and....an apology for our inconvenience in the room. We were greatly impressed with the staff throughout the cruise.
We have done 15 cruises and found the young group of professionals that did the Broadway show and dancing were the best we have ever seen on a ship. The comedian was so-so---rather typical cruise fodder--yet the pianist/magician was incredible.
