Overall this cruise was a hit for a first time cruise vacation. On the positive side our stateroom and the entire ship was kept spotlessly clean, the morning and lunch food offerings were adequate and the formal dining format/food was outstanding. Embarking and debarking the ship was smooth and quick. On the negative side shore excursions were two to three times more expensive when arranged by Celebrity versus what we found on shore - there no excuse for that.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dining experience was a five star experience all seven nights.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Kudos to the main dining wait staff and state room atendants. Many of the buffet and bar staff were unfriendly to the point of being rude and surly.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This was our first experience with any cruise line but the ship was kept in extraordinary shape and cleanliness.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5

Pros: Formal dining format and wait staff, ship amenities, entertainment, stateroom attendants

Cons: Unfriendly and sometimes surly bar staff & extremely overpriced shore excursions
