cruiseline not what we expected

Very disappointed with the dining options. There was only 1 diningroom. You either had to eat dinner at 6:00p.m. or 8:00p.m. There was no evening buffet if you didn't have enough time from your excursions to make the diningroom dinner. Only a pizza or pasta bar with very limited options. When we ate in the diningroom it took us at least 2 hours for dinner. On 2 separate occasions we were still waiting to be served desert when they dimmed the lights for us to leave so they could seat the 8:00 p.m. diners. I beleive they were understaffed.
The food was average. We often missed the start of the shows because of this. There was only 1 show per night. Other cruiselines usually have 2 , such as a variety show and late night comedy. The shows were mediocre. This was our 10th cruise, but our first on Celebrity. We prefer Princess by far. Not only for there anytime dinner options, but also for the quality of food and entertainment. The ports of call were great, but we were really disappointed with the cruiseline.

Pros: ports of call

Cons: dining
