Having reviewed this ship once already (1/26/2000)and given it a blanket recommendation, I feel obligated to re-review it after my last cruise as a warning. Post September 11 cutbacks are painfully apparent. The advertised intercative cabin service had been discontinued and ordering anything through room service was nearly impossible after 9 PM. A request for towels at 11pm was not granted until the following morning. The buffets, which used to be a high point, were not only reduced in size but were repetitive AND at times badly prepared. The ship to shore phone system was disabled. Drinks came to the table half-filled. The staff at the new pizza restaurant did not want to make pizza at 10:30PM when their closing time is 11, and we had to argue the point. And so on. On the positive side, the entertainment was still good, and the formal dining room was better than ever-hence the two-star review rather than the no-star I was inclined to give at first.
