Loved the Equinox, and it’s entire crew. Not thrilled about Cozumel but overall a great cruise!

Let’s face it...Cruises always offer great cuisine in main dining rooms and specialty restaurants. However, Celebrity is head and shoulders above it’s competitors when it comes to its buffet dining. This is more like a gourmet brunch at a high end restaurant.

The ship was refurbished in 2019 and it is gorgeous! I’m pretty picky and I had no complaints.
Cabin / Stateroom

Just a bit small, but that’s to be expected on a cruise. It was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of storage. Love the pillow menu with concierge class.
We experienced a “resort for a day” at the Occidental Resort, and is give that 4 stars. What I didn’t like was the maze of shops you need to go through to get back to the ship. It’s specifically designed so you need to zigzag your way through shops to the ship, all the while vendors are trying to get you into their stores. This was our 3rd time in Cozumel and I’ve experienced this before. However, this time the vendors attempted to separate my husband and I from our 2 adult daughters, closing the door to the store as you entered to get you to buy something. Stay together and do NOT go into the stores upstairs.
Glad to hear the good review of the Equinox, will be on March 2021. We will be going to Cozumel for a 2nd time in November. We thought it was a fun port the last time.
