Excellent cruise - ship great, service tops, food not a WOW but good. This is our 2nd sailing on this ship and itinerary. Ship in good shape, but a good reno is needed and is coming May 2019. Crew really worked to keep us happy - suite class helps with that. Quality entertainment and lots of options. Would sail her again.

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Excellent but not a WOW except for Chef's Table. Chef's Table is a 5, the Luminae was a solid 4. Menu played it safe - but service was always superb.

Excellent service. Has a bar that's never has a line. Afternoon tea and horderves at 3:30pm. Attentive concierge and suite director. They'll help arrange all sorts of things.

Suite class and received excellent care. Concierge team, Michaels club, Luminae, and suite staff OUTSTANDING - high point of cruise.
Ship Quality

Ready for dry dock, but well maintained. You can see wear, but its going to get fixed in May.
Cabin / Stateroom

Aft sky suite on deck 11. Ample room and storage, but as the aft of the Equinox is tiered, you don't have the best privacy on the aft balconies. You can easily see into the lower balconies and the Seaview bar deck can look down into all of them. Nice views, but aft position lets you feel all the prop droning
Ship tip
If you want a 5-star dining experience try chef's table. Offered 1-2x/week for an upcharge, but it lets the culinary team show off their stuff.
Did the Secret River in Playa del Carmen. Superb experience, well run by vendor and Celebrity. Seamless travel. Lots of soldiers with guns all over the place so must be some security issues.
Made the stingray city trek. The best part of the Grand Cayman is away from the immediate port area (which must requires tendering). Nice housing, and good roads through the island. Loads of water activities, snorkling, diving, boating etc.
