Review summary

Excellent cruise. We cruise every year and Celebrity never fails to provide a luxurious time. Activities are best left for Norwegian lines but Celebrity has better rooms, balconies and food.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Easiest and fastest embarkation so far.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Some complaints regarding the Ocean Cafe organization and mediocre foods. (don't eat the meatballs) The Silhouette Main Dining Room food and service was exceptional.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Celebrity doesn't lend itself to many on-board activities. We selected this cruise for the food and ports of call.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The comedy shows were enjoyable. The Glass Blowing presentation was very intersting. The musical shows were not part of our liking so no comment regarding them. The various singers in the common areas were so-so. Victor Cruz was the exception.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room steward and wait staff were very attentive and polite.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was great with one exception. The lack of any order in the Ocean Cafe made it seem like a free-for-all with people walking into each other throughout the cruise. We did notice a couple of old ceiling leaks in the main foyer area and back bar that should have been addressed earlier.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
One of the larger balconies with very comfortable reclining chairs. The room configuration made for a larger more usable area with nice bathroom and plenty of storage.

Ship tip

Our favorite place was the Bianca Cafe where we would get our coffee (Irish coffee) and pastries daily. Everyone should take advantage of the Classic Beverage Package which included bottled water anytime especially when going ashore. Daily puzzles and packs of cards & pens were available at customer relations.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida Did not visit port

Key West, Florida

5 out of 5
We explored Hemingway Home/museum ($14) on our own. A 1 mile walk from the pier.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

3 out of 5
We didn't do any excursion just walked around the Cruise shop area.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We did the non-certified Scuba Diving and it was fantastic. Bruno, our instructor (underwater leader) was very patient and made sure out group of 4 had a memorable experience.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
Stingray City was a blast. Lots of people but very enjoyable with a lot of stingrays to touch, hold and feed in waist deep water.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Fastest disembarkation ever. Take your own bags and be off within 15 minutes of clear to disembark.
