Good food....horrible fellow passengers

Sail Date: March 01, 2010

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The food on board was very good fro what it was (Hotel plus plus), however, the literature provided online by the cruise line indicated a median age of the late 30's to mid 50's. That, simply put, is a lie. The average age must have been 75 + possibly near 80's. Its like a floating old folks home...not a retirement community....the actual nursing home. Several passengers (many) were traveling with nurses and further the ventilation equipment in the theater was distracting...of course..if you like Englebert Humperdink that is... lol

Pros: Food, ship itself was very nice

Cons: Crew was not necessarily attentive, and the fellow passengers are NOT average age 50.

Recommends Celebrity Equinox? Yes!

umm....it must have been boring in the 1950s.
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
NO Closet space..BEWARE
Service and Staff
eh....they allowed the venal rudeness of the elderly to override social norms. They would actually encourage the behavior by simply ignoring the fact that the person had just stepped in front of you in line.
Children's Programs
teer were none to be seen...maybe they had been eaten by a nasty spinster from New Jersey.
