Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The Ship was beautiful and new. Nicely appointed and interesting use of space. Liked that the Foyer was used as dance area. The informal eating area was chic, but confusing as to food locations or some duplication. The Theatre was nice...stage views seemed better. The food was wonderful in both taste and presentation. The Specialty restaurants were also very nice and made for an elegant, romantic evening, althiough the formal dining room was equally as lovely.

Pros: It's a Celebrity ship.. the food, service, staff, lodgings, outisde pool,

Cons: Thought the SPA pool was a Thelasotherapy pool...greatly disappointed Please note on deck plans which type pool

Cabin / Stateroom
Was not as please with the stateroom storage areas, or lack of same. The closet was nice but missed the area with shelves for sportwear and drawers for softer clothing. Also missed the drawer space beside the dresser and on either side of the bed. Was greatly confused about the overhead storage above the bed. Does someone really expect older or challenged guests to climb on the bed to retrieve their clothing? Thank heavens the beds were high enough to use the luggage underneath as drawers. I. after years, still love the bathroom design and floorplan. Best use of space I have ever witnessed.
Service and Staff
Celebrity has the most delightful and professional staff of all. Everyone is very kind and attentive and quick to help with requests. We have sailed with Celebrity 15 times and we keep coming back because other Lines cannot hold a candle to Celebrity's standards.
Entertainment
I have rated this a 4 star because we have seen many similar shows before. Although the level of quality has deminished a bit. We just chalked that up to having to cut expenses. Still enjoyable and varied.
