Review summary

We have cruised with Celebrity a lot. This is our second cruise on the Edge class and we really love these ships. We like the bigger Martini Bar and the Club. The staff on the Edge ship were excellent. Everyone from the Captain, Cruise Director, to the bartenders and room stewards were friendly and on point.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We had excellent food and service both in the main dining rooms and in the specialty restaurants.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We had a lot of sea days and Cruise Director Guiseppe and the rest of the activities staff kept us busy with fun things around the pool and inside games like trivia and other game shows. The ship is VERY important when your itinerary has a lot of sea days. The Edge did not disappoint.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We cruise a lot on Celebrity and were getting tired of the same theatre shows, so it was nice to have a couple new ones on this cruise. The guest entertainers were very good. The musicians were very good. We especially loved Charlie Pothecary and the band Essence.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff and service were very friendly and did a great job taking care of all of our wants and needs.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Love the Edge class series, and Celebrity in general. The ships are well maintained and always very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Loved the huge deck. Room seemed a bit roomier than the average veranda.

Ship tip

Know that you can order from any menu at any main dining room. Try the many and various activities. Try a specialty restaurant or two.

Not a lot to do at the port. It's beautiful, but excursions were limited. We were there for 2 days, we did a long excursion on the first day, but didn't have anything we really wanted to revisit the next day.

Kailua-Kona, Hawaii

Not a lot to do there. Not a lot of excursions offered. Tendering is always a pain too - it's a commitment to get on and off the ship.

I was on the same cruise and also had a wonderful time! I love the Edge class, thought the food/service was outstanding, and wasn't Will Martin the entertainer talented?
