We dined at all of the included restaurants on Edge and had a “premium dinner” on the rooftop garden. Each one was super. The waitstaff was very attentive and each dish we had was very nicely done.

Our cabin steward, Ace, was top-notch. When we met him shortly after getting to our cabin, we talked about a couple of things we’d like to have done each day and he had it all totally covered!

We absolutely loved our “infinite balcony” cabin and found it more than spacious. The bathroom was really nice, with a shower design that was particularly convenient, roomy.
Ship tip
The Edge was not designed for young children, specifically, although there was a small “kids camp” and activities for them. The ship catered more to adults, which fits our demographic perfectly. When our children were young, we cruised with Royal Caribbean several times, and it was great.
We had an extra day in Barcelona before flying home and did our own touring around. Beautiful city with such great liveliness on the boulevards with cafes and shopping.
Again, we did our own thing there. Walked around, poked in the shops by the harbor, had an amazing lunch, then talked one of the locals into taking us out on his boat for a short cruise around the coast. Great to see it from that perspective. I think we paid him $100 euros for four of us for about 30-45 minutes.
