Review summary

Overall this was a fantastic cruise. Sailing at about 40% capacity, we felt like it was a nearly private cruise at times. Loved not having big crowds to deal with. The service was exceptional. The food exceptional, especially the themed lunches that were as good or better than the evening meals. Skip the specialty restaurants as they are really not that special compared with standard dinning options.

The food was the best we have ever experienced on any cruise with almost 50 cruises under our belt on 7 different cruise lines. The themed lunch buffets were a first and just outstanding.

Onboard Activities

For what we did ... pools, hot tubs, and fitness centers ... they were excellent

Entertainment

Mixed reviews on the entertainment. Some of the entertainers were Excellent and some not so much. The Celebrity orchestra was outstanding while the performers struggled to pull off the vocals well.

Service and Staff

They were more excited to see us (and have a job) than we were to be sailing again ... their service was outstanding

Ship Quality

We prefer the solstice class ships rather than the Edge without a piano bar and wine bar ... Edge class ships are beautiful with a lot of cutting edge designs

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5

Could not ask for anything else ... they covered it all in the design and cleanliness of this cabin

Ship tip

Skip the specialty restaurants with the one exception of the fine cut steakhouse ... they are not really that special anymore
