Review summary

We loved the Edge and all of the staff. It was a beautiful ship and well designed. It had a more casual atmosphere than some of the older ships. Very comfortable. The staterooms were very nice. We enjoyed Guiseppe the cruise director and Captain Kate and her cat. Took a behind the scenes tour which was very informative. I have a latex allergy - this ship uses both synthetic and latex gloves - which meant that I had to have special dinners prepared - disappointing! I would recommend that the ship stop using latex for the health and safety of the guests and crew.

Loved the Eden. The Martini bar was not placed well on the ship - too much traffic with the band and dance floor. The Club was small for the amount of visitors. The cabanas were never used - open them up for further deck seating.

Cabin / Stateroom

Loved the big shower. Too many pillows - had to be stored on the sofa which reduced the amount of seating. Otherwise very nice. Closet was a little small but we used all of the other storage spaces. Loved the shades of gray.
