The BEST cruise we've ever been on! The Eclipse is a GREAT ship; the food was awesome and the wait staff was superb. The entertainment was "off the charts"..... different act every night and we saw every show in it's entirety. The ports were fantastic, especially St Petersburg and we chose this cruise so we could be in St Petersburg for 3 full days - highly recommend the 3 days here.

The service and gorgeous ship as well as almost all the ports of calling being awesome saved this cruise. And the fact that I was happy to spend my free time relaxing and reading by the pool because the activities and entertainment leave much to be desired.

Overall, the trip was amazing. We already booked our next cruise on the Edge. Unfortunately it's not until February 2019. Hopefully we will book another one before then. We plan on doing all our future cruise with Celebrity.

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary since it made so many stops on our bucket list.  The food was fantastic, particularly in the specialty restaurants.  We will definitely sail Celebrity again!

EVERY DAY WE HAD A TOUR SCHEDULGED IN A DIFFERENT AREA OF THE VARIOUS COUNTRIES WE VISITED AND THEY WERE ALL WONDERFUL SO WE WERE TOO BUSY TO PARTICIPATE IN VARIOUS SHIP ACTIVITIES. WE ENJOY OUR EVENINGS ON THIS BEAUTIFUL SHIP AND IN THE SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS AND THE MAIN DINING ROOM

There was nothing to find to say anything other than how great everything and every  member of staff Were.    Was surprised at the volume and the Quality of the Food.   The amount of different activities to choose from each and every day and the really great evening entertainment each night....

We loved the Transatlantic!  The ship is the nicest we've experienced.  Not much helpful information about ports, unless you take their excursions.  The speaker was poor, and the ship agent was not very helpful either.

Plenty of time to relax, plus good itinerary.  Weird arrival/departure times in Bermuda -- arrived after 12 noon and departed next day early afternoon.  Food was really good (Oceanview Café as we didn't go to the dining room).  We were in Concierge Class, so nice canapes every afternoon.  I wish there had been more free on-demand movies and a menu or schedule of what shows were on or coming up on TV as we just had to flip around.  We spent a lot of time in the Sky Lounge reading and playing Trivia.  Beautiful lounge.   

The cruise was great. Everything was perfect except waiting to board the ship in Miami which was a total nightmare of endless waiting and standing in line.

Aqua Class is the only way we will travel.  My husband and I enjoyed superior service in all venues, met and made wonderful friends and booked another cruise next March 4th on the same ship with one of the couples.  We are also taking this cruise in November of this year.    We are disappointed Celebrity is eliminating their 14 day cruises.  Celebrity is lacking in evening Entertainment; Royal Caribbean is far superior.

Let me begin by saying the ship is absolutely beautiful.  It has a modern decor and is well maintained.  The rooms were spacious (we had a balcony) and it was easy to move from the room to the various activities on the ship. 

The itinerary was also fabulous.  All of the islands were great and the time we spent on each island was just perfect.  

The food was mediocre.  There is no variety of food after 10:30pm - you just have pasta and pizza being offered only till 1:30am. After that everything shuts down.  Free ice cream is also taken away after 10pm forcing you to go to the gelato bar to pay for the same ice cream you would get free. The food at the specialty restaurants was great.  We ate multiple times at the specialty restaurants because the food was just mediocre at the Ocean Cafe.  However, be prepared to pay a lot of money.  These are not subsidized in any way.  We paid $160 for my and my wife the first night at Tuscan Grill and that was only one glass of wine for me and my wife.  Q'Sine is also a great restaurant.  Again, a little pricey. 

The shows are also mediocre.  Out of the 14 days there were only 3 shows that I would characterize as good (not great).  The comedians left a lot to be desired.  The Cruise Director must have mentioned 10 times that he was going on vacation after this cruise so I think he was just checked out already. 

If you like to dance there is a great band called the Soul Quartet.  They are GREAT!  And they know how to interact with the crowd to provide a great experience each and every time they had a set.  Other than the Soul Quartet the other bands a musicians were either poor or mediocre.  I would have liked the Soul Quartet to be in the Sky Lounge where the dance floor is bigger.  So many people we spoke to were saying the same thing.

If you want to have something corrected be prepared to argue intensely.  I wanted my seating arrangements changed at the beginning of the cruise.  They repeatedly pointed me to the Maite'D as the only person that could correct the issue.  We only saw the Matre'D once and he did not have the time to address our issue. He never called back and after 4 attempts to contact him at different days and different times I just gave up.  The customer relations team kept pointing back to the Maitre'D.  The issue was never resolved so we never ate at the Moonlight Sonata lounge.  I could have yelled and screamed (others did that and it seemed to work) but I was on vacation and did not want to get into a bad mood.  The prices at the SPA are outrages - $280 for an 80 min Swedish massage. Make sure you ask about the prices before you get any service whatsoever.  I am not sure how they can even justify such a high price.  I mentioned that to the captain.  It seems to me that this is the ultimate slap in the face to the customer - just because you have a captive audience does not mean they should price gouge.

Embarkation and Debarkation was easy.  They have a good system. 

Last the ship stewards are very nice and cordial. 

Overall, if you like a lot of quality night entertainment this is not the ship for you.  If you go to sleep at 10pm then you will be happy. 

We just returned from our 14 day Southern Caribbean cruise onboard Celebrity Eclipse. As per usual everything was great. From the food in the Oceanview Cafe to the specialty restaurants we dined in to the great service from all the crew members we could not have asked for any more. We will continue to sail onboard Celebrity until we have a problem, which by the way it is going will be a long time away. They treat my wife and I as if we were royalty. Just remember if you treat them well they will take care of you.

Everyone that we encountered on the ship greeted us warmly. They all seemed to enjoy what they are doing. Already booked for next year.

What can I say, everything was great! The Crew, Staff, Food, Entertainment and Excursions! We were treated like V.I.P.s from day one to the end on day fourteen. We recommend this to everyone!

Loved the music and dancing! Loved the dinners! We had great servers for our meals and in our stateroom. The ship was very clean and attended to constantly. One improvement needed is a better wine selection. We had the premium drink package and very often the bar nearest me did not offer the premium wines that I liked. Most of the entertainment was good. We like sitting out in the shade and shady spots were limited. Overall it was a great cruise! We were very pleased with our overall experience. 

The cruise is great. The ship is great, the people are great, the service is great. The itinerary leaves nothing to be desired. Book with a drink package and you are done. Nothing to do but to relax and enjoy.

Our first experience with Aqua Class and it was superb in every respect. So much so that I plan to upgrade our summer cruise to Aqua as well. The Eclipse staff were beyond accommodating and we found several of our "Blu" restaurant staff approaching us ashore, even after the cruise, to chat amiably and ensure we had a terrific time. I don't see how Celebrity could have done it better.

Very relaxing and fun!  The food was excellent and the bar service was awesomeness.  Loved the staff, and the weather was great!   The Miami port coming and going is mayhem.  Will take another cruise with celebrity! 

The ports were unique and all took US currency. The upgraded veranda room we purchased was sold as partially obstructed view and we were told it only effected looking down. In reality the tender boat with radar head stuck above our handrail and we would have never taken that room had we known that! Celebrity boat was great but unless you bought an expensive meal plan you felt like a second class citizen as main dinning room options were lacking and portions were ridiculously small. Also cost for onboard internet was way too high and we wasted 20% of port time going to places with free WiFi to communicate home. Allot to like but not sure we got what we expected. Price was reasonable and weather was great.

We have just returned from this cruise and enjoyed all the islands we visited.  The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We were very disappointed with the options that were presented in the dining room - it was not gourmet cuisine.  The menu had meatloaf one night & pork & beans another night.  The items on the menu were repeated night after night. 

We  chose Celebrity cruise line because of the itinerary based on our past cruise experience but were very disappointed.  They really promote dining in the specialty restaurants where you have to pay $100.00 per person for valentines day.

We have no complaints with the staff except for the head sous chef.  He told us if we didn't like the food in the dining room we should go to the café for dinner.  We didn't come on a cruise to dine at a buffet when we wanted to have the dining experience that we were accustomed to in previous cruises.

The entertainment in the evening was a downfall of the cruise line.  There was only about 4 shows that people really enjoyed.

We heard many complaints re:  dining room and we hope that head office will take note and make Celebrity cruise line what it use to be!!!

The dress code in the dining room was also not enforced .

This was our second time on this exact cruise --- line, boat, itinerary !  The only time since we started cruising 25 yrs. ago.  That says everything.  We find the boat, the staff, the food, the amenities suit our tastes from bistro coffee to an intimate casino, varied entertainment and comfortable, quiet lounges.  The pool areas are very nice ... I go as a single as my husband can't be out in the sun for long periods.  Was always able to find a lounge chair.  This trip didn't use the Solarium pool but it is very nice for a reduced sun experience.  We like the Aqua Spa cafe for lunch and Slush on sea days for fresh fruit alcoholic slushes !
