Review summary

City Stay was so disappointing that it started the cruise with a bad taste. Was expensive at $1800+/person. Food on ship was also disappointing and not equal to previous Celebrity cruises. Entertainment, other than excessive acrobatics, was very, very good.

Food was not the quality of past cruises with Celebrity. For instance, in past cruises a staple on the evening dinner menu was a steak, however, this time a steak was not offered each night. My husband is a picky eater so the steak was a prefect option. A couple of nights the staple offering was Irish Stew - not something everyone likes. Definitely noticed what appeared to be cost saving measures with regards to the food.

Onboard Activities

Nothing special. Seminar presentations were about things like Hollywood trivia, old movies, etc. Would have preferred Smithsonian type presentations.

Entertainment

Jayne Curry was beyond exceptional as were most other acts. Acrobatic performances became old with the same thing. Would have liked a popular musical production thrown in there.

Don't expect an upper class gourmet meal menu for any of the meals.

There were three carousels with luggage and I spent 20+ minutes at the wrong carousel before hearing someone ask an attendant where to go and found out I needed to go to the next room. I was concierge and there was supposed to be coffee available in our waiting lounge on the ship, but did not find any coffee.
