Review summary

Not that we were looking for a 'party' atmosphere but these was not a whole lot of energy on this one. 40% capacity? Average age being 70? Sure that was it but still... I think the age group was higher because it was a longer cruise... had we gone on a 7 day trip i think we would have seen more people our age. All in all it was definitely relaxing and fun with lots of sun and wonderful food.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
The line was moving pretty slowly but when got to the door, it was smooth sailing the rest of the way. We quickly realized the slow line was due to people not being prepared to show their vax info.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The restaurants were expectedly wonderful. But, I've taken a celebrity cruise 6 years ago and have to say I felt the food on the buffet was much better back then. We didn't see sushi at all this time. Maybe due to the invent of sushi on 5. I remember the fruit choices/cuts being more then too.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Trivia/games - all were fun and led by a fun activities teams.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The ship's dancing/singing crew were good, but not super great. The women's voice were screechy to us and there were just so many of them it was hard to focus or see just what their dance was about. Stage was too busy... The hired shows were fantastic!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
As if they would allow their service to be anything less than amazing. I did question one thing though. We were concierge level and our steward asked if there was anything we would like... i couldn't think of anything I really wanted except a bottle of water in the room at night. His reply was for us to just get some bottles during the day from the bars and bring them to the room. I wonder why he couldn't get that for us.. i've heard of stewards doing all kinds of things for people and didn't my one little water request was too unusual. If he couldn't do that, i didn't want to ask anything else for fear of looking silly/asking too much. We still tipped him very well though.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Clean but signs of aging... rust in spots on balcony... chips in table. New carpet was nice though.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Enjoyed the extra 45 square feet of space from a regular balcony cabin. Perfect size and plenty of drawers/spots to put stuff away.

Ship tip

Use the App... very handle to schedule your day. Don't waste money on the premium drink package (they often gave us the drink without charging anyway).

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

Grew up in Tampa area so got to visit family pre cruise.

Nassau, Bahamas

We did a private tour.. kind of feel we may have been taken since all the other island tours were around $25/2 hrs, this one was $150.. ugh... but was still beautiful.

Kralendijk, Bonaire

5 out of 5
Sail boat snorkel.. was the best!!

Oranjestad, Aruba

4 out of 5
Catamaran snorkel. Expected it be like Bonaire's but this one had 50 people w/ drinking teens...too loud and crazy.

Willemstad, Curacao

5 out of 5
Beautiful tour of city, Mambo beach & Hato caves.. even with some rain.

Disembarkation

We got off the ship with no issue.
