Celebrity Constellation

11 Night Canada/New England (Cape Liberty Roundtrip)

Sail date: October 16, 2006

Ship: Celebrity Constellation

Cabin type: Balcony

Traveled as: Couple

Reviewed: 14 years ago

Review summary

The Constellation is in superb condition despite its constant use for nearly five years since its inaugural voyage. The stateroom was clean, the furniture in excellent shape and the balcony inviting and quite usable. The quality of the food was, as usual for Celebrity, typical of a fine restaurant. The staff on the ship was very attentive, especially towards the many physically challenged guests onboard. The entertainment was excellent, especially the performance by Cirque Du Soliel. The ports were all interesting. We especially enjoyed the visit to Quebec City. I will say that the photo people were distinctly amateurish. The first formal night photo didn't turn out, and on the third formal night the photographer dropped the batteries from her camera and they rolled under a couple of tables.

Just a beautiful and somehat exotic (for Americans) city. The visit to Montmorency Falls was interesting but when you have ween one waterfall you have seen them all.
Don't Miss: Ste. Anne De Beaupre Basilica.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

Just another medium sized city - nothing exceptional. We could have been in Omaha. But the beer was good.
