Care quality was bad

Sail Date: May 12, 2013

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

This was our second cruise with celebrity. Our first was concierge class. It was great and the care we got was fantastic for that level. We upgraded to suite this time and the care could not have been worse. Why would you assign a rookie butler to the penthouse deck? This poor guy didn't even know how to order a tuxedo, I'm guessing that they expect a lot more from the customer now than they do the crew. He told us it was his first time as a butler and we could tell. No anticipation, no promotion of items that were offered in this class and everyday the fruit of the day was 3 apples!!! Express embarkation/debarkation did not exist. No one took the time to show us where our room was located and we very seldom saw any of the help assigned to our room. Until the last day of course when they fell all over themselves to make sure we were happy and to be sure that we gave them all excellent ratings. If that is eu butler service then I can certainly do without it and save my money. Really disappointed on what I got for the money it cost me
