Great Food, Seniors entertainment

Went for a 7 day cruise on Century right after a drydock visit (ship usually doesn't do that length). Great food service that was beyond belief good and I am a real foodie. There were several others at our table who really enjoyed fine food and we ran our waiters ragged ordering multiple items from the menu. We would even order extra entrees and pass the plates around the table so we could experience everything on the menu. However, the entertainment seemed to be geared to an older set. We were at the late seating and most of the night time programs were over before we got out. Complained personally to the cruise director but was told the crew had to sleep sometime. Seriously?!?! Excursions were incredible. Loved the Dolphins in Cozumel. Spa service was very good and the Persian Gardens were nice but pay for it per day and not for the entire cruise. Not worth it. DON'T bring smaller kids on this ship My wife and I checked out the kids program for future cruising with our kids and left very dissapointed. Overall, a great experience if you are looking for a romantic cruise and you love food. Bad experience if you want a night life or a family cruise.

Pros: Food

Cons: Entertainment geared to Seniors

Recommends Celebrity Century? Yes!

Staged shows were good, but the comedians were hit or miss. Ended way too early and catered to the early dinner and seemed to ignore the late seating.
Children's Programs
Small kids area was insulting it was so small. Teen lounge looked good though.
Cabin / Stateroom
Nice room but could hear the TV next door ALL NIGHT LONG. It was like I was in the same room with the television.
Ship Quality
Very nice but they did just come out of drydock.
Food and Dining
Beyond belief! Never disappointed.
Service and Staff
Loved the Dining room staff. Staff went above and beyond constantly. Cruise director was a little glib.
