Family Fantastic

Sail Date: December 01, 2009

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

The Century is one of the older, smaller ships that Celebrity has but what it might lack in size or age it makes up for in service and convenience. We found the staff approachable and willing to work with us as we had a party of 12 to celebrate my dad's 85th birthday. The dining room gave us special attention both for the birthday celebration (a great cake) and for two vegetarians in our group. (They offered and prepared special meals each evening including some great Indian food.) The rooms were well designed and the large balconies were a delight. While the large shows were fairly typical, the smaller music venues were outstanding with both a great jazz piano player and an acappela group. Both getting on and off the ship in Miami was a breeze...well organized and quick.

Pros: The ship is just the right size...not too big but with all the options that most big ships have!

Cons: Would have loved one more day!

Recommends Celebrity Century? Yes!
