5 Night Western Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip)
Sail Date: February 04, 2008
Ship: Celebrity Century
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Singles/Friends
Reviewed: 7 years ago
The ship is old & was renovated to add more balconies - much to the detriment of the rooms - queen bed split into twins did NOT work - bed is round so feet were hanging off one side - mattresses need replacement, very hard & almost felt like springs coming thru in places. No walking room without bumping shins on bed - Balconies were great & wide enough to have bkfst there - bathroom was also exceptionally tiny w/no counter space or drawers, shower only (just regular adjustable spray showerhead - nothing that should be listed in "amenities" as special.

Old time trolley a must for first-timers - don't book it on the ship! tour is longer & much more informative from the "trolley" ticket booth right off the boat & to the left!!! Take sunscreen, head cover & water!!!
Don't Miss: Trolley car ride - hits all the high spots & shops & still leaves time for

Don't bother getting off the ship - nothing there except Stingray City & with 6 ships in port the same day it was a Zoo!!!!! No deals on shopping = w/Am exchange things are cheaper on board!
Don't Miss: Don't miss ENJOYING THE QUIET SHIP while everyone runs ashore!!!!
