It truly IS the dawn of a new CENTURY!

Sail Date: March 01, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Inside

When you first walk on The Century, you immediately see the 55-million face-lift. The ship is GOURGEOUS! The staff is fist-rate. The public rooms are very roomy, as are the standard cabins. (We were an interior.) Our 9 year-old son celebrated his birthday on the ship, and was treated as a CELEBRITY that entire cruise. The food is an 8 out of ten, the dining service is a nine, and the Wine Stewarts are some of the most knowledgeable I have had the pleasure to be served by. Their wine and cognac tastings were quite educational, as are the culinary demonstrations. Like their big-sister Royal Caribbean, Celebrity goes out of their way to make sure you are happy; but at a slower, more enjoyable pace with less emphasis on non-stop action, and more on up-graded services like the Spa.

Pros: The renowned Celebrity service.

Cons: Too many of the ships bars closed before 1AM.

Recommends Celebrity Century? Yes!
