Century 3/19/2007

Sail Date: March 19, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Suite

Celebrity is more low-key and laid back compared to Carnival. The food was good and the service was good in all areas - cabin, restaurants, etc. My kids loved the kids club on Carnival from day 1, but on Century it took a couple of days to get them warmed up to it. The kids staff was friendly but not overly enthusiastic, which is needed to get the kid's attention and put them at ease. Kids can enjoy this cruise, but I would recommend other cruise lines for families as Celebrity is more suited for adults.

Pros: Good food, great service

Cons: Overall mood of this ship is low-key; kids club activities 1st 2 days were unattractive to my kids.

Recommends Celebrity Century? Yes!
