Ship: Celebrity Century
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Couple

The ship is very clean and practices safe handling of food, utensils, etc. and cleans constantly to avoid Nora virus problems - more than other cruise lines that I have been on. The stateroom attendants are the least obtrusive I have encountered.

The entertainment was good but not excellent. The A Capella group - the Cat's Pajamas was awesomely good; the ventriloquist was skilled but not funny; the comedian was excellent; the production shows were only fair (bad costuming, out of sync dancing).

The amenities are typical. Would have preferred a solarium for the cool days. It appears the ship's spa was expanded to offer these money-making services in lieu of more seating areas.

This ship did not appear as environmentally conscious as the Royal Carribean cruise I was on, but was attuned to waste of food. The portions were reasonable and the plate sizes were smaller to discourage gluttony.

The food, especially baked goods and patries were excellent.

Activities and excursions were typical. We snorkelled in Grand Cayman. Was nice but not great. Announcements on the PA are minimized - very nice feature!

The crowd was old (boat named the Century appropriately)

Debarkation procedures are awesomely efficient. Try it you'll like it!

I was disappointed in the "beautiful 7 mile beach". The snorkeling was fun but more variety of fish in Cabo San lucas, althought the water temp is much better here!

It was cool and cloudy so we didn't have the beach to enjoy. The architecture is interesting. Duval Street would be offensive to some
Don't Miss: Butterfly Conservatory

Pros: Efficient, inobtrusive service

Cons: Entertainment (evening shows)
