Very average

Sail Date: December 01, 2006

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The Century is an average ship with smallish cabins with balconies. The major positives are the organized embark and debarkation. This was my 8th cruise and they are the best for logisitcs. We got off the ship in less than 15 minutes. The food was basically average, shows fair and the casino did not have enough tables to accommodate the ship's compliment. If you get an upper stern balcony cabin you have a partially obstructed view overlooking the cafeteria deck with passenger noise unless you shut your veranda door. The worst part was the lack of hot water on numerous occasions for the shower. There is no excuse for that.

Pros: Ease getting on and off

Cons: average service and food, no hot water for showers

Recommends Celebrity Century? No.
