The Century was wonderful. We were very impressed with the ship and the crew. The food was fantastic! Every bit as good as Holland America's, but not available as continuously. They have a French chef and pastry chef...you can tell. The cigar bar is one of the most beautiful rooms we have ever seen on a ship. Our room stewards were great! The room lacked however, from what we thought we were getting. There was lots of closet/storage space and more room than on some ships, but the beds are not very comfortable. We were late getting into both San Juan (everything was closed), and to the Bahamas. Strange...we made it back to Ft. Lauderdale fine. They blamed currents. There was not enough time in the ports to do much, but we did take a tour in each one and did snorkel in St. Thomas, as well as do the BOB excursion, which is fabulous. I bought the "soda option," all the soda you want for $36. The bar staff was rude about those cards. They did not spread the activities out enough. They were bunched up, so you had to make a decision what to do (even during port time) and at other times there was nothing going on. For example, we wanted to play darts and we could not because this activity was only offered when we were in port and we had excursions. The entertainment and music were great. Movies were okay, but only shown 2-3 times a day and popcorn was not available during most.
