We sailed on the Century from 2/2 to 2/9/02. Weather was spectacular and the ship and service were equal to the weather, a great way to have a family reunion. While the buffet food lacked imagination, there were enough alternatives to keep us interested and full. Dinners, on the other hand, were nothing short of spectacular. Taste, presentation and service were incredible. The ship was spotless and, unlike previous cruises with other cruise lines, there were no maintenance activities getting in our way. Entertainment was some of the best I have enjoyed at sea.My main complaint is that the aft of the ship vibrated severely while docking and leaving port. Dishes were rattling on the tables. My advice - do not book a stateroom in the aft of the ship. The vibration is not noticable in other areas. If you can avoid that, you will be in for a memorable experience. We would schedule another cruise on Century any day.
