We just returned from a week long cruise in the Western Caribbean. It was sensational. We had a suite with veranda on the top deck (we were upgraded two categories upon check in). There were no organizational problems--we boarded early (at 11:45) with no lines. The food and service were outstanding and we utilized the thalassotherapy pool every day. At ports of call we did our own tours for half the price of the cruise excursions by renting a private guide in Ocho Rios (Luciano in the Soni mall--he is honest, funny and informative), by renting a jeep on Grand Cayman and renting mopeds on Cozumel. We even experienced a helicopter emergency lift for someone on board who needed to be air lifted to Miami for medical treatment. The ship does have vibration problems in the rear when it is docking or leaving port (for about 1/2 hour) particularly on the upper decks. There were lots of children's activities, but my two boys found them "silly" although they did make some friends there.I would recommend this ship and itinerary to anyone. It was our first cruise, but not our last.Phil W. from PA.
