Great Experience

Room Type: Inside

This was our first cruise and it was AWESOME!!! The food at Murano's and the Island Cafe was excellent. We were a little disappointed with the Grand Restaurant and the Pool Side Buffet, but it didn't detract from the overall experience. The excursions in Key West was a little overpriced but the ones in Mexico were a value. The crew was very attentive and friendly.

Pros: Murano's Specialty Restaurant and Sunset Bar

Cons: The Grand Restaurant

Recommends Celebrity Century? Yes!

Ship Quality
The pools are on the small size. There was a problem with the wood floors in the Island Cafe, they got really wet and slick the last 2 days. (They were going into dry dock right after this cruise - so this problem MIGHT have been fixed...) The ship was alway clean. The restaurants and show areas were easy to find once you got a feel for the ship.
Food and Dining
Murano's was to die for. It was one of the best meals we had ever had. The wine recommendations were very good. We can't say enough good things about it. The Casual Dining Meal the we had at the Islands was almost as good. We were really impressed. The Breakfast Buffet at the Islands was also EXCELLENT. As I said above, the Grand Restaurant was disappointing - the menu the night we ate there was nothing special. The burgers at the Pool Side Grill were average.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Everyone was very friendly. I was amazed at how helpful everyone was. Our room attendant was on top of it - if we needed anything we had it the minute we asked.
