Wonderful 20th anniversary cruise

Sail Date: April 01, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Balcony

Nice clean ship. Handsanitizer everywhere available for everyone to use. Nice decor in rooms and in common areas of the ship. Employees all looks neat and clean.

Pros: Being waited on hand and foot

Cons: same type foods in all resturants. They just make it fancier in Grand Resturant

Food and Dining
Need a greater variety of foods available in resturants. You got the same type foods for lunch that you got for dinner. Just served in smaller portions in the Grand Resturant. They just made it look fancier.

Service and Staff
Everyone we communicated with was nice, except the main girl in the spa. She was snotty (rude) on the phone when we called and ask to cancel a massage appointment due to a sunburn. We had already used the spa 3 different times, it wasn't like we didn't keep our appointments. She needs a better attitude with passengers. Everyone else on the ship was so nice and willing to help. Our cabin steward was wonderful and kept everything nice.
They advertise more pools but the only pool we saw was on the 11th level. Very crowded at times. Even though the daily news letter states not to, people place towels or bags in the pool side chairs and never use the chair. It's frustrating when you want a lounge chair and you see so many with a bag sitting in them. The rules state your items will be removed after 20 minutes of non-use but day after day people just put their things in them and never actually sat in the chair. Not sure if there is more the cruise line could do about this but it would help if they backed up what they say and removed items after 20 minutes of non-use.There are plenty of pool butlers that could monitor this and take action when needed.
