Older refurbished ship, unless you get a screaming deal, don't even consider it. Almost all the excursions were cancelled. The "unlimited snorkel" one we went on was shockingly bad. We stood on a corner in hot sun for 30 to 40 minutes and then walked to a "beach", no sand, rebar and rock and tiny bar. It was so pathetic we just left and took a cab to the real beach. Complaining and asking for $75 refund was politely acknowledged and so sorry, no refund. Had to wait forever to get a beer at the bar, had a terrible time getting a third towel,a third robe or the third bed made up in the stateroom. Our third passengers name was also dropped from the tv account information.
I had the impression of being nickel and dimed to death. We were charged for every class, then there was the non-optional gratuity on every charge, in addition to the expectation of gratuities in cash at the end of the cruise.
Never would I go on or recommoned a Celebrity cruise.

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Casual dining restaurant spaghetti tasted just like the terrible canned stuff, fishy fish in Grand Dining room and the sauce couldn't hide it. For only $100 per person we could have tried the fine dining restaurant... that would probably have been better.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
I don't think the yoga or spinning instructors were trained in their topics... just an impression from having many classes with qualified instructors. I felt that they were faking it. There were some FREE variety type shows and an enjoyable commedian. Lord knows, we need some comedy.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Staff was very well trained in greeting and saying yes to anything you asked, but yes usually meant maybe or no.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
Old ship, so so public areas, bottle necks at every disembarkment. Orange and gold stateroom, (maybe retro?)

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Black soot came in onto carpet, sheets, our clothing just from coming and going through sliding glass door. Carpet stained with soot from previous cruises. The first night, one of us slept with a towel underneath because the bottom sheet on the pull out bed wasn't changed and didn't look clean.

Pros: coming home

Cons: so so food, sooty cabin and balcony, couldn't get a third bed made up the first night, debarkations at ports miseraable

Recommends Celebrity Century? No.
