Sail date: February 15, 2007

Ship: Celebration

Cabin type: Inside

Traveled as: Family (young children)

Review summary

The ship needed a lot of improvements. One of the lounges smelled like an old house that had been closed up for years. The main deck area around the pool and hot tub needs to be redone. It looked a little old and run down.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was very good in the grill. The dining room food was just alright. It could have been better, the portions were VERY small.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The schedules were on point every day. Quite a lot of options to choose from.

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
My children were not impressed with Camp Carnival. They thought it was very weak. The counselors were boring acoording to them.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was EXCELLENT. If they didn't know the answer to any questions we had, they found someone who did.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean. The staff were always wiping down something.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The rooms were just what we expected. Very cozy, clean and located in a great spot.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Lovely,Lovely,Lovely.Nassau was the best.Diamonds International staff is very knowledgable about their products.
Don't Miss: The shopping right there at your feet.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

1 out of 5
Not Impressed at all.

Pros: All you can eat and drink (juices), courtesy of the staff, and very informative about the shopping at the designated ports of call.

Cons: Please take Freeport off of one of the ports of call. We were NOT impressed at all.
