Celebration

5 Night Bahamas (Jacksonville Roundtrip)

Sail Date: May 20, 2006

Ship: Celebration

Cabin Type: Oceanview

Traveled As: Large Group

Reviewed: 12 years ago

Review Summary

The ship is one of the oldest and smallest, but the cabins are a good size, very old, but clean and comfortable. The small ship gives it a cozier, friendly atmosphere, easier to keep up with and find people (especially your teens--)but really limits glamour, formal picture settings, and variety. More than 3-5 days on this ship would be too much. Do over?--I would have purchased a newer ship for the price.

I have never been on an older or smaller ship, but the "ride" was the smoothest. Only 3 floors of cabins, 3 floors of public areas.

SNORLKE ON THE REEF, NOT FROM THE ISLAND. CROWDED BUT GREAT DISPLAY. PARTY AT THE SR FROG BEFORE REBOARDING. WATERFRONT SPOT AND ALSO STRAW MARKET NEXT TO IT IF TIME PERMITS.
Don't Miss: CATARAMAN SNORKLE

Key West, Florida

DONT DO THE BIG 3 IF YOU WANT TO SEE FISH SNORKLING--IT WAS LIKE A BARREN WASTELAND! WE DID SPOT DOLPHINS BUT THIS IS ALSO RARE FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND.
Don't Miss: DUVAL STREET--STROLL FROM BAR TO BAR AND PARTY

Pros: Great service, small atmosphere, infirmary dr awesome and affordable

Cons: Lack of information about military helicopter visit
