We just got back from cruising on Carnival's "Celebration:" funship. It went to Key West Florida and Nassau Bahama's. The ship is old and so is the decor. It was clean and well kept. We cruised last year on the Holiday also with Carnival, and the food and entertainment was much better on the Holiday. This cruise on the "Celebration" was good but didn't meet the expectations I had since my last cruise. The food was good but not as good as the Holiday. The excursions were close to the port and easily accessable. The "big three" excursion was not nearly worth the price. There was little instruction given on snorkling or kayacking. This would not be a good excursion for first timers.
Over all we did have a good time but was disappointed when compaired to our first cruise . The food in the Horizon dining room was good, the only complaint there was the meat was not very tender. The chocolate melting cake is a must try. I would recomend this boat if you have not cruised before but if you have been on a few other cruises you may be a little dissapointed.

Pros: large window and ledge in ocean view room. Rooms clean.

Cons: out-dated decor. not enough room for most loungers near pool. No music on end of boat near kids pool.

Recommends Celebration (RETIRED)? Yes!

Nassau, Bahamas
We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe. It was good as usual. Nassau is one of the few places you can see a horse pulling a cart in front of the "GUCCI" store.
Don't Miss: Make sure to take in the straw market. Haggle on the prices, they expect it.
Key West, Florida
The big three excursion was not a good value or great excursion. You don't have enough time to do any of the three well. It is too many things at once to really enjoy each one.
