A great experience

Sail Date: October 16, 2006

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

It was my first cruise and a great experience. I enjoyed the fun days at sea the most, but it was also a great experience going to both ports. I brought my 12 year old daughter and she enjoyed the camp carnival activities - particularly the "build your own teddy bear". The highlight of each day was the dinners! We looked forward to seeing what was going to be on the menu each evening. The food was excellent.

Pros: The entertainment on the ship

Cons: It was FREEZING on the ship!

Nassau, Bahamas
The beach of Paradise Island was enjoyable. We took the water taxi and it was a great way to get to Paradise Island. The walk from where the ferry drops you off was only 10-15 mins. You should definetly NOT travel by the scooters that you can rent - it's too dangerous due to the traffic.
Don't Miss: Souveniers are very cheap here - 4 t-shirts for $10.00

We visited Ripleys Believe it or Not and both the adults and children in our group enjoyed it. The shopping was our favorite part of this port visit.
