A Great Cruise

Sail Date: September 23, 2006

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

We were a little curious as to the size of the ship. Until this ship, we were only on the bigger ones. We were surprised how smooth it sailed, even through some windy days. When we first saw the deck area, we thought we would have a hard time getting a lounge chair, but it seemed everyone that wanted one got one. The staff was very friendly, and our room steward took extra time for special requests.

Pros: The smallest ship we have been on, but definately one of the cleanist.

Cons: Somewhat of a challenge to get a table on lido deck for lunch.

Ship Quality
As said earlier, the ship was the smallest we were ever on, but we would definately go on this one again. Very clean. We expected it to look ancient, but it did not!
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom was very clean. Beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning was cold. We had a very good location at mid ship.
Service and Staff
Our cabin steward was excellant. But I am sure they all are.
Shows at night were great, and the poolside entertainment was also very good.
Key West, Florida
Key West is a awesome port to visit. We did not do a tour through the ship, however we did a trolley tour on our own, then walked around, and ended up parasailing for the first time.
Don't Miss: Taking some kind of tour around. The guides are very good with showing you points of interest.
Nassau, Bahamas
We took a taxi to cabbage beach early. We were there most of the afternoon, and then took a taxi back to our ship, showered, and figured we would go into the city to buy a piece of jewelry, and have a quick dinner. WRONG-- everything closes between 5:00 & 6:00 p.m. Only things open were Hard Rock and Senor Frogs.
Don't Miss: Shopping early.
